What’s in a Name? The story of Fox & Rain.
Have you ever had to name a company? It sounds simple, but for me, it felt like naming a part of myself. I wanted something that carried meaning, not just a clever brand.
Fox is my last name, but it also reflects how I work. Foxes are observant, adaptable, and strategic. They’re calm under pressure. They pay attention before they act. That’s the approach I bring to every client relationship. I listen, I learn, and I help move things forward with focus and clarity.
Rain is rooted in place. I live in Portland, Oregon, where rain is a constant. But to me, it represents more than weather. Rain is change. It clears the air. It softens the ground. It helps things grow. Even when everything feels heavy or unclear, rain reminds me that something new is possible.
Fox & Rain reflects how I support my clients during times of transition. I bring structure when things feel uncertain. I help create clarity when the path ahead is murky. I focus on what matters and help build momentum when it’s needed most.
The name is a quiet reminder to trust the process, even when it’s messy. Change doesn’t have to mean chaos. Sometimes it just takes the right conditions to help you move forward.
